Most Personal Colour Analysis tells you what to wear based on a system designed somewhere else, for someone else. We start with what we can actually observe on your skin.

"Finally, a colour analysis service that truly understands Southeast Asian undertones."
Mrina VasudevanPersonal Colour Analysis is not a styling consultation. It is a diagnostic process that identifies, with precision, which colours work with your specific skin and which work against it.
You leave with a permanent reference you use every time you shop or get dressed. Not a category label. Not a season. A specific, verified result for your skin.
When a colour harmonises with your skin's natural properties, it creates visible clarity. Your skin looks more even, shadows soften, your features come forward. When a colour conflicts, the opposite happens: texture is emphasised, shadows deepen, something looks slightly off without anyone being able to say exactly what.
This is not aesthetic. It is optical. It follows consistent, observable patterns that are specific to your skin. The same colour looks completely different on two people because their skin responds to light differently.
You sit in a purpose-built analyst room under CRI 98 calibrated lighting. A Style Curator introduces up to 492 fabric colours one at a time directly against your skin and observes how each affects your appearance: clarity, shadow depth, feature definition. The patterns that emerge across hundreds of observations build your palette.
You see the difference yourself in real time. It is not a system telling you what should work. It is you watching what does.
Every purchase becomes more deliberate. Every morning gets faster. The waste stops. The pieces in your wardrobe start to work together because they are all chosen from the same verified foundation.
At some point, the compliments change. Not "I like your top." "You look great." Because people are no longer noticing what you are wearing. They are noticing you.

"They used a device to measure the light reflection on my facial skin, and apparently used it to adjust the lighting that will be used during the draping session. They put so much emphasis into making sure that the result will be constant no matter where I will be."
"Finally, a colour analysis service that truly understands Southeast Asian undertones. Ollumia goes beyond the typical seasonal types to create palettes that reflect our unique skin tones and local lighting."
"An approach that is actually suitable for Southeast Asian skin tones. Came out more confident and satisfied with the results."
"Very clear and real. Now I know what colours I should be buying in my next shopping haul."
You pay for it once, and you use what you learn every day for years afterward. The returns are real and they are specific.
But those returns only hold if the recommendations are accurate.
You stop wasting money on clothes and makeup that sit unused. You spend less time getting dressed in the morning because the guessing is gone. You look better because you are finally wearing colours that work with your skin instead of against it.
Think about how many things you have bought, worn once, and quietly stopped wearing, not because anything was wrong with them, but because the colour was wrong for you. Every one of those was money spent on a guess. A single session replaces the guessing.
Founder's NoteNobody tells you that the only thing that matters is whether the recommendations are accurate. Most people were never given a way to assess that, so they end up choosing based on what they can see: price, location, a beautiful Instagram feed, which influencer visited, how professional everything looks.
All of that is easy to compare. None of it tells you whether the system actually works. This is how most people end up disappointed, not because they chose poorly, but because they were never told what to look for in the first place.
What you can assess beforehand is whether the system was built for accuracy, and whether you can rely on it to give you accurate and consistent results every time. That is the only question worth asking.
When recommendations are wrong, every decision that follows is based on faulty information. Think about other systems you rely on.
You cannot see reliability from the outside. What you can see is whether the conditions for it exist. A system that produces accurate results every time requires four things to be in place.
If you receive one result today and a different result next week under the same conditions, which one is correct? Neither can be trusted. A reliable system produces the same result every time because it is measuring something about you that does not change.
When you are trying to measure how your skin responds to colour, the environment must be controlled. If the lighting shifts, if other variables interfere, you are no longer measuring your skin's response alone. This is why Personal Colour Analysis conducted near windows or under mixed lighting often produces results that feel inconsistent.
A diagnostic tool calibrated for a different population will look for patterns that may not exist in your skin and miss patterns that do. It does not matter how experienced the practitioner is. If the instruments were not built to measure what your skin is doing, they cannot give you an accurate result.
If a conclusion cannot be explained beyond "I can see it" or "trust my experience," there is no way to verify whether it is correct. In a reliable system, every step exists for a reason that can be articulated, examined, and repeated.
The full diagnostic and validation framework is published for anyone who wants to examine it.
Methodology and Validation FrameworkOur methodology produces the same result across practitioners and sessions. Every analyst is tested on the same clients during training and must independently reach the same diagnostic conclusion before they are cleared to conduct sessions. We measure only stable indicators: melanin distribution, undertone behaviour, contrast relationships. The full diagnosis is included in your report.
We assess each client's skin response to light and calibrate our CRI 98 lighting accordingly at our Pavilion Damansara Heights studio. CRI 98 means our lights render colour at near-perfect accuracy. Lighter skin reflects more visible light; darker skin reflects less, so details can be harder to read without calibration. We adjust to make colour responses consistently readable throughout your session, regardless of your skin tone.
Most Personal Colour Analysis systems work with 75 to 150 diagnostic drapes, typically developed on European and Northeast Asian skin tones. We tested over 20,000 colour samples to develop the 492 that made the final set, selecting for the hues that produce the clearest diagnostic responses across Southeast Asian skin tones, from the lightest to the deepest.
Our diagnostics are grounded in CAM16, a colour appearance model that accounts for how colour is actually perceived under real viewing conditions, combined with CIELAB colourimetry for objective measurement. Every conclusion is traceable to something that can be observed, measured, and articulated, not personal opinion. If you ask why a specific red works and another does not, you get a specific, verifiable answer.
You leave with a report: your diagnostic results, your recommended palette, and clear guidance on how to apply it to everything you wear and buy.
Your results remain stable because they are based on structural skin characteristics, not temporary surface changes like sun exposure or makeup. What you learn in your session does not expire. Every purchase you make after your session is more informed than every purchase you made before it.
Purchases become easier. The waste stops.
Two sessions. Same diagnostic process. The difference is scope and depth.
Individual sessions run Thursday to Saturday. Tuesday and Wednesday are reserved for corporate sessions and open to individuals by arrangement.
